Efraín Vega

Efraín Alberto Vega Morúa founded Plot & Plank and edits everything published on it: the calculators, the plant profiles and the backyard building and gardening guides.

His job is making sure the numbers are right. Every page is researched against university extension services, USDA data, building-code references and manufacturer specs, and the sources are cited on the page. Every calculator formula is unit-tested against worked examples before it goes live.

Plot & Plank doesn't claim hands-on test results it doesn't have. When a page recommends a material or method, it's because official sources and manufacturer specs back it up, and the page says which ones.

When something changes — a better source, a new product size, a correction from a reader — the page is updated along with its "Last updated" date. Spot a mistake? Email hello@plotandplank.com.
